Help :-(

Hi guys,

I really, really need your help. on the 16th of jan i used a buy it now option and bought 2 tickts for the feeling in manchester. I filled out the pay section and instructed the seller that i was going to pay via chq, The sellers addres wasnt there so i emailed him and asked for it. After a few days i emailed again because i hadnt had a responce, So i waited and waited and nothing!

Yesterday i logged on to find an unpaid dispute for the tickets? So i replied saying i still hadnt recieved the sellers address. Today i find that he has closed the dispute and is claiming a final fee. I checked my feedback to find:

MUPPET NEVER PAID!! AVOID THIS CHEAT!!!!! This is really upsetting me has i havent done anything wrong so i left feedback saying :

Sent numerous emails but seller wont send address. How am i supposed to pay?
And he has replied: WHAT A !!!!! CHECK HIS F/B - SEEMS HIS PC HAD CRASHED SO WOT MORE CAN I DO??

He is referring to another sale before christmas which was fully resolved between me and the other seller (p.s im a female)and had absolutley nothing to do with his sale.

Most of the feedback he has left for other people normally includes the word muppet or other swearing words and i cant see how this can be allowed.

He has really offended and upset me and i have challanged his request to close the dispute, I dont see why i should get a strike because of this looney!

How would i go about making a complaint, Could i have him investigated as it is very clear i am not the only person he has done this to.

Any help would be very muchly appreciated.

Thanks,
Salena x

    1) Does the listing read paypal only?

    2) Did you reply via hotmail or yahoo etc, clicking "reply" rather than "respond".

    3) Did you click the "request payment details" link thing or just click "contact seller"

    4) how soon is the gig?

Why on earth would you want to pay by cheque? Leaves you open to all sorts of scams.

If possible pull his contact details and phone him and get it sorted.

His payment instructions are cheques and PO's only.....or overseas payment in CASH Only...

You didnt answer the questions I asked which I believe may have explained the confusion over the emails. Unless the tickets went particularly cheap then Id assume he didnt recieve your emails and hes relsited them to get them sold before its too late.

OP has also responded to the dispute to explain the problem - seller will be able to see the response.

Kriss give the OP a chance to reply why dont you.

Looked at listing and he only accepts personal cheque, postal order or bankers draft. And seems some others have had the same problem.

As for for yahoo or hotmail emails, thats the sellers problem kriss. If anyone sells on ebay, they should constanly make sure there email accounts are ok. No excuse.

This sellers has a serious attitude problem.

Yes you can report him for abusive feedback.

    Similar thing happened to me.
I took on one of these fraudsters.
I created a new user, bought 1 of his other items and then politely left dogs abuse feedback to warn others, without paying.
Ebay sided with him and I'm now banned for life.

    Life goes on.

If the buyer has responded to the seller via email, and not ebay, then if the seller hasnt provided their email address by clicking "reply" rather than "respond" on the email, the response is sent to "usetheyellowbutton@ebay.com" and not the seller himself.

It took me a week or so to notice when that change was implemented a couple of years back.
