parking problems

I live in a block of flats. The first floor are offices occupied by solicitors. They have 3 parking spaces directly in front of the flat by a brick wall.
Instead of parking 3 cars they parking 8 in front of the building in areas , which aren't designated parking spaces.
Is there anything we can do to prevent them parking there and using the entire communal grounds in the front of the flat as their car park?
thanks

The solicitors are very chummy with the freeholders of the building. Do we have any rights?0

Do you have allocated parking spaces which you are paying for and are they occupying them?

They are not parking in our spaces. They had 3 allocated spaces (which they use) and then park all over the front communal areas which are not designated spaces.0

What do the residents of the other flats say? If it's a general issue then perhaps you need to approach the solicitors about it.
I haven't bogged off yet, and I ain't no babe

Based on this, I don't think you can do anything. If it's an communal area, it's the same as if they parked outside someone's house.0 -
but if anyone else parks there (residents) they get clamped? How is this fair?0

When you say "there" what exactly do you mean? If you mean the 3 spaces allocated to them, that's because the spots are, erm..............allocated?
If "there" is the other communal spots, they cannot be communal - they must be private.
For legal clamping to take place, the clamping firm must have the permission of the owner of the land. If the land is communal, clamping cannot be legal.0 -
they park in their 3 allocated spaces and then park a further 5 cars in the surrounding ground. The communal spots are basically the drive into the rest of the car park and the entrance of the block. They park in front of that.
Am i right in assuming that the freeholder owns this land and as the owner of a flat i have no right over this?0 -
Does your lease mention this land and if so what does it say about you or others parking on it?Am i right in assuming that the freeholder owns this land and as the owner of a flat i have no right over this?0
