What help can she get?

I watch over an 18 year old girl since her mother evicted her in February last year.
She was my neices best friend and a really great girl.
After 4 months of outstaying her welcome with friends, neigbours she moved in with her boyfriend and his father, brothers and uncle (full house!)
Father kicked them out after 5 months with hours notice.
They are now sofa surfing and have been since last Tuesday. They have no money and I've been helping them out.
She is at College doing full time A levels. (I bought he a termly bus pass for her birthday!)
Boyfriend is 22 receiving JSA and Incapacity Benefit??? _ He is waiting to be put on the waiting list for a double hip replacement, then he can go back to his IT job but not likely to happen in the next year.
She is trying to find a part time job that can fit in with her college work and despite her best efforts is proving much harder than i could ever have imagined.
What entitement does she/they have for Housing Benefit and other benefits to help them on there way.
He's in pain with his hips and her studies are suffering because of the sofa surfing.
They went to the Housing people in their area and if they were treated half as badly as they told me they have not had a very good experience. I am going back to the housing people with them next week but some questions or any help under my belt would really help.

If her Mother doesnt want her and the BF's father, family and brothers dont want them I would take that as a hint that not everything is as it might be made out to you by them.
I think you are making a rod for your own back and tbh really feel you ought to be asking them to leave before they outstay their welcome with you too.0 -
why did both her parents evict her?Overactively underachieving for almost half a century0

Nobody gets "hours notice" unless they did something seriously wrong in the house.
They have an entitlement to the 1 bedroom rate of housing benefit but will need to raise the first 6 months of rent upfront or the first months rent and 1 months deposit and have a willing guarantor to pay the rent for them plus all the fees involved in letting a place first.:footie:Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S)
Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money.

Her mother is a bit unbalanced - This Girl has been kicked out for buying the wrong smelling bottle of Flash cleaning product!!!!! I'm not joking.
The BF's father sent a text!!!, which I read. The beef was aimed at the BF, and other male members for not pulling their weight and sitting around being depressed. The beef with the Girl was that he was feeding her but got no cash in return. I tried to negotiate with him and he was alreday bagging up everybodies clothes.
With most of her friends parents it boils down to money, they all say she pitches in with housekeeping, but they cant afford another mouth to feed. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Its just her mum...Dads not been around since she was 4. No Grandparents. There is one aunt who lives in Scotland but she has enough issues of her own. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

He has no help. He gets 1x monthly payment and then he get 2x monthly payments for something else. I check exactly what he gets. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
I think her only option is going to be getting a full time job and do her A levels at evening classes.Overactively underachieving for almost half a century0
