They will (should!) ask you to provide your O2 mobile number and also the name registered to that number - to stop customers reusing or passing on voucher codes to non O2 customers I should think.

I was asked for my mobile number to confirm, I was also asked to show the code on screen.

I am very against people passing codes on like this, the £10 was a great freebie and O2 will rightly be put off offering things like this again if its abused.

If your son wants another speaker then to be blunt you should either buy him one or have ensured he was on O2. Asking for one here is to me just rude.

FWIW I gave my DD the speaker I purchased with my code, I also have a son who I'm sure would have loved one as well but I'd never dream of coming on here and asking for a tenner to buy him one!

No store would accept a code wrote down, the staff want to see the code on the phone, either in the texts or on the app. The codes can not be reused - you will notice the code move from the saved offers of the app to the 'accepted/stats' as soon as the staff enter the code into the till. You can give any contact number, my local store didn't even ask for my name when I used my friends code for her, the staff put his own details in and when I asked if he needed any details he said no.

i was only asking because it is coming to a end and thought if someone was not going to use theres it would only be going to waste, and i don't think theres any harm done by asking for codes as it can't be abused because the code can only be used once

Regarding the millies cookies offer I redeemed it from the app a few weeks back when it started, as did my boyfriend (tho he just got at text) however since then he has been online and managed to get it another 2 times but for me it doesn't show up on the app and when I go through the website it just says it has been used. Obviously I have used it once so can't really compalin but it feels a bit unfair that some people are getting it more than once.

    I couldn't load it either.

There is a new offer for £2 off an M&S Dine in For £10.

  • I am going to change from pay monthly to PAYG on O2 but not planning to use the PAYG much, just trying to use priority moment mainly. Do I need to reload the PAYG monthly to continue using priority moments?
  • Used the £2 off an M&S £10 Dine In successfully today. Brilliant!
