I'm on Windows and had the same issue, quite a few of us in the queue had the same problem where it suddenly went offline.
Luckily Boots did honour the deal for those of us that were already in the queue.

Has anyone had issues using the online version of the codes rather than tha app? Local Boots said it wasn't valid as the seconds were not counting down, had to stand there for a minute until the minute ticked down.

Yes, I used to have that problem when I used my tablet instead of my phone.

It should have a spinning wheel that shows it is live. Mine used to.
