  • Halfords free AA or AAA batteries.

Just back from Boots and WHS, Smiths wouldn't let me take the first pack of cards I picked up which were priced at £8.99, the guy tried and said the till wouldn't accept it, I got a different pack which was £4.99 and that was fine.

I had the same trouble with the cards! It's not the ones in the black boxes. I had started the timer (watch out it's only 2 minutes!) so it had run out by the time I had queued again but the person serving put it through thankfully as she said it wasn't very clear which were included. Lucky I got a friendly SA :)
  • I was lucky there was no-one else at the till so was able to run and get them, I guess it may be better for people to take an extra pack with them in case their first choice isn't accepted.
  • Got the batteries from Halfords.

Couldn't find the PopCorn Crunch even the app showed the store having them in stock, so missed out on those.
  • Free can of Schweppes or Appletiser at Boots.
