I don't have a smart/internet enabled phone but have managed to get texts sent to my phone with the codes/details. Will these be acceptable if I wanted to use them? Thanks.

There should be no problem, so far i've only got flip flops from BHS but showed them the text and it was fine. I have a text for Upper Crust and that has a code which I assume they use to give the freebie so I don't foresee any issues. If the offer is available by the text method everything should be ok.

Not my day yesterday. Went to Westfield Stratford to redeem the foot asylum and fragrance code. Foot asylum was closed because it was very near to the murder area and the girl in the fragrance shop pressed something on my phone that lost the code... Still at least I got a cheap nail varnish with my boots voucher for £5 off No7. No that wasn't a priority moment before you get excited

Sorry to hear that - was at the same places yesterday morning - then heard the news. HAdn't realised foot assylum was close to the murder scene... they had a few pairs of canvas shoes in size 5 and smaller (red, blue, white or flowered pattern).

    for those still with it
HMV are still doing the £5 off.
though they are now using a use once in 24 hours rule (not really enforceable)
Also tried to pull some "i know its no minumum spend but there has to be £5 in the transaction" T&C with me today.
moot given I was buying a £12-£5 boxset, but seems they are getting a bit touchy on it

On the HMV one I kept getting u have to spend at least £5.01...so I just point out to them.."no minimum spend" eventually they give up..and do it..

    I've been Money Tipped!
They did not want to "sell" me a £4 DVD, so grabbed 2 packets of gum near the till and they were happy - saved the hassle of a dispute

Had the cafe Nero Iced Frappe Choc milkshake yesterday, not as nice as a thick ice cream shake, but not bad at all!
