The stores that did it have realised that giving away freebies didn't actually achieve anything for them. The stores that did it have realised that giving away freebies didn't actually achieve anything for them. It cost them money, but the sort of people that it brought in (mainly from here and HUKD) just grabbed the freebie and didn't spend enough instore to make it worthwhile to offer the freebies. Shouldn't have come as a surprise, really!
I thought O2 paid for the freebies? That's what I was told at Halfords.0 -

It is really hard to navigate the new app on the go. I tend to open it as I am heading for the station and this new layout needs concentration!0

I thought O2 paid for the freebies aswell? Your point is valid, the only time I ever went into WHSmith was for my freebie! I still miss them though. I hope we get some more soon, I used to be able to get some months close to £20 worth of freebies:money::rotfl::T0
