I always thought it was the brands who took up the cost, sort of like a loss-leader, to get people through the doors. My assumption with the brands that are listed was that maybe the had shares in O2 or O2 had shares or financial ties in them, more of a financial deal than just brands thinking they'd use O2 to advertise, but these are all guesses and maybe more to do with my cynical mind than anything I've seen or heard!

I think- and if it is any help, that many brands wont have too many offers at the moment as it is the beginning or the tax year (I'm beginning to sound like some sort of financial accountant- the world would be a very scary place if I was! I am not at all involved in any sort of role in the financial sector but have worked in retail for a few years and learnt a bit about how people spend money during the year). This time of the year in my past experience people used to shop more, we always put it down to the new tax year and the sun beginning to show more, people spend more and brands don't try as hard to get people in their shops. I would imagine as the weather gets cooler more offers will start up again.

But this is just my guess work, I could very easily be wrong!

O2 pay for the Chocolat at Hotel Choc so the girls there have informed me on several occassions, not sure about elsewhere. Hopefully O2 are having a break after all the Easter Freebies and they will have more soon!

O2 will more than likely cover the costs. If you think about it they will get some great deals no doubt. When the offer is limited it is normally about 20,000 on offer, so, I can't see them paying full price. I think it will be more of a partnership deal, which will see O2 just paying the cost of buying the product in and it acts as footfall for the stores and it could drive sales when customers get into the stores.

I know the taxi discount they were giving out at 1 point, they own shares in, so not sure how that would work out.

Does anyone remember the o2 reward at Xmas time to give you £10 (i think) off your bill? I received a message to say it would be taken off February's bill but I'm yet to receive this deduction!

Reminder about the £1 lunch offer today at dominos, upper crust, cafe ritazza & pumpkin :D
Life is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you'll see further.

Offer includes your choice of Simply or Classic Ginsters sandwich or homemade panini or toastie plus 500ml bottle of Coke, Diet Coke, Coke Zero, Fanta, Sprite or Buxton water and a 32 gram bag of Walkers crisps for £1.
This offer can only redeemed on Monday 19th May, 26th May, 2nd June, 9th June, 16th June 2014. Between 11:00 to 15:00.
