I know most people will be using the O2 app but ...

Anybody tried logging onto the O2 priority website & selecting the 'send me a text' button ? (to get the offer in a text message)

Doesn't seem to work for me - I have tried both explorer & chrome + tried different offers (eg fragrance shop & halfords offers)

    Also for anybody interested :

have now confirmed that the windows phone app definately works differently to the android app

For example I saved the hotel chocolate cracker offer on both phones - when the offer 'ran out' the android phone says 'out of stock' BUT the windows phone still shows the code you need to show

please note that I didnt try the 'use it now' (as opposed to 'save for later') button on the android app but Ive read previously that if you do that then the offer expires shortly afterwards ?

Also noticed a £25 of voucher for viagogo ticket reseller site - potentially useful if you can actually find some tickets that aren't too overpriced - occasionally some gigs do not sell out so you get offers of cheaper than cost price

For example tonight you could see Primal Scream or Wet Wet Wet for approx. £8
ie you still have to pay viagogos fees - the £25 only comes off the ticket price

Being an unsmart phone user, I'm also having this issue...
I'm just glad they have FINALLY included us again in getting these offers.

just used my body shop £5 off in store. For those wanting to use it and have as little spend but still getting value for money there are lots of little gift sets to buy between £5-£7. I got the soft musk gift cube, was £6 so I got it for £1. If you don't want gifts there are other items for £5 or less. The freebie is £5 off so I would get as close to that as you can if spending less

I got the 30ml hand cream from Body Shop which is £5 full price so it's free. Really liked this cream since the freebie giveaway earlier this year.

They take the £5 off a full priced item so you can't use it on already discounted items.

The code is the same for all users so you could potentially use it more than once.

Tried to get the TY Beanie offer at WHSmiths but looks like that offer is gone now.
  • I got my wrapping paper from O2 before, I showed the guy my phone and he just said they're in that box by the door so just take one, no record made of my details or code even asked for. It's lovely with pics of a a kitty holding a cracker on it, I'll wrap my dog's present in it ;) :rotfl:

Some offers are now through the App only. Even when I get a text it says to open the App to receive the offer. I think the reasoning is that you could potentially drive from one bodyshop to the next spending £5 in each if you just had to show the text, whereas in the App the offer will only be valid for 30 minutes.

On that basis, I take back what I said and reaffirm that O2 are a bunch of dicks! It's simple to have ONE unique code per mobile phone number..they even make you login with with your number every time for crying out loud.. It begs belief on just how many offers we've lost out to, due to not having the required phone. IM STILL A !!!!ING O2 CUSTOMER!!
