The search system on here is not great as any thread mentioning 02 comes up.
Thank you Bougainvillea for being so helpful. Will try it now.
Thanks0 -

however, you need an unlocked handset to do it and an o2 sim0 -

Your smartphone that is running the app does not need to be unlocked. The app confirms you are on the o2 network by asking for your o2 phone number, and sending you a text with a confirmation code that you type into the app. You can put your o2 sim in another handset, just so it receives the text, then type it into the app on your smartphone. I have a very crappy unlocked samsung handset that I use just for this purpose.
You can also uninstall the app, and re-install it and use a different o2 number(sim) to get the offers more than once. Free sims are available from the o2 website. You do not need to top them up or activate them just to receive the confirmation code text.
I have given this info more than once on this thread, as have others, but I'll type it all out again to save you reading. You know where the thanks button is.0 -
Sorry to inconvenience you. I overcomplicated it and it was as easy as putting my old sim in my new phone and downloading it. I thought my app store would have been more smarter then it is.
I have done it now and did not need to deregister. Will do a system reset on my old phone to remove everything before I sell it.
Thank you everyone for your help and I am sorry to have asked something which has been asked before... Is there any way off adding it to the first post so more people like me do not keep asking the same questions.
Thanks again.0 -

IME (non O2)sim locked Android handsets dont show the priority moments app to download0 -
Wow. That's the most ridiculous thing I've read on here. Get a life.
Great bit of input there buddy. Keep up the good work.IME (non O2)sim locked Android handsets dont show the priority moments app to download
Hmmmmmn. I didn't realise that. Maybe someone who is on o2 can download the .apk and upload it somewhere, so non o2 people can install it. I can't help, I haven't got an android phone.
UPDATE : Just found this thread on HUKD where someone has done just that.0 -
Sorry if this isn't the right place to post.
Today I decided to use the O2 moments offer on my phone app in HMV as I spent £40 I expected to get 2 £5 gift cards but I was told (rather rudley) that I can only claim £5
I've read the offer over a few times and it specifically states £5 voucher for EVERY £20 spend ... Not for example spend £20 or over and get the £5
Has anyone else had expierence with this offer?
Thanks for reading0
