Could the three questions not be asked seperatley?

Or asked seperately by three different people and then see how they respond?;)

That's good idea. I would be happy to write a question to them....

great lets all cost the beleaguered nhs a stack of our own tax money asking questions about parking costs just cos someone can't follow the rules in a carpark.

    fantastic bit of moneysaving.
Come on, it's not rocket surgery is it?

And a fantastic demonstration of a lack of knowledge about the subject being discussed.

People want to see how much money is being wasted by the NHS in pursuing cases where they have no power to fine people parking in their car parks.

By trying to claim the costs of the job exceeds the limits you have to wonder what it is they are trying to hide.

somehow i'd rather they spend my money on something more beneficial to the sick than using manpower, time and resources to answer pedantic questions about carparks.

if they have no power to fine people then just don't pay the fine that they can't enforce.

    simple really.

I will break down the questions and ask them the first question alone but rephrase it slightly and ask the cost paid to the solicitors to pursue the claims they have issued.
The situation at Aintree is they don't need to do this, they have a huge multi storey and 3 or 4 surface car parks, all of which are ticket on entry and pay on exit. The parking charges being issued are for not parking correctly in the bays, but the most common ones are for Blue Badge holders parking on DYL's. They are pursuing two such cases at the moment that we know about.

They have 1650 car park spaces minimum £2.50 up to £5.00 all day.

They have claimed this information will take too much time and cost over they limit of £450 to produce it! Yet they pursue court cases which cost them more to recover even if they win. The local agent acting for Trewthowns at the last case cost them £140 besides what Trewthowns charged for their services. They were suing for £50 plus cost of £75.

They may be "pedantic questions" about car parking, but there is at the moment at least two disabled people being taken to court for parking on DYL's something they are allowed to do on the public highway. Aintree have mimicked road markings causing the problem. If my pedantic question stops one more person being dragged through a county court it will be well worth it!

You just don't get it, people DON'T KNOW that the fine is an unenforceable invoice, and they pay it these parasites like Trethowans concoct infringements, and other ways to impose a penalty which illegal as it is private. The sick and their relatives are being harassed at a low point in their lives so are vulnerable.

How would you like it if one of your family was rushed to hospital, you park in the car park, thankfully in a clear bay, but in your haste one wheel is touching the markings. Kerching, invoice is on its way, along with threatOgrams and nasty letters demanding ever more cash whilst you have the worry of a sick relative

In this FOI request they dodge the question again! However they do say they have issued 369 individual claims.

Let's also get rid of the Public Accounts Committee and the Audit Office while we're at it. After all, aren't they just a bunch of paper-shuffling civil service bureaucrats who are not providing essential public services?

[If in doubt, my comment is meant to be ironic.]

Oversight, transparency and accountability are essential parts of delivering our tax-funded services to ensure value for money, and that people aren't "taking advantage" or worse.
