  • it could be, nothing came up when i search for the full name of it, i got it touch with a jewish school who didnt know anything about it and they put me in touch with the UJIA or UJIE (something like that) who is some jewish governing body that has records of all major jewish companies and organisations and they couldnt find them either.

anyway its in the hand of the HMRC now if it exsists im sure they will find them.

got everything sorted and would sooner be safe than sorry, i may be over reacting but its not worth the risk.

thanks eveyone for taking the time to reply x
  • no, it had my full name including my middle name that i never use, my address and my national insurance number on it.
lol so? A letter can be sent in error to you. It is not unheard of.
    Slightly over-reacted I think.
If you wanted to do anything all you needed to do was to check any accounts, if that.

    Totally overboard.

We have a relative that seems to have a personal vendetta with the DWP.

He works extremely hard in getting all manner of benefits, and I am talking about the last time, Ind Inj, DLA & ESA. He manages to be awarded some very high rates as well.

Then goes round closing them all down and then after a month or so starts again with new claims.

He has done this about eight times that we know about.

He says that he is getting his own back on the DWP over the way they treated him over something in the mid 80's.
I dread to think what the DWP think of him and his files must be massive.

I would say that THAT is certainly going overboard!!!

i tried to research this board of jewish education and it dosent apper to exsist, it has no internet foot print
This may be useful to you

    Centre For Jewish Education
    Jacksons Row
    Manchester
    Lancashire M2 5NH
    0161 8317092

If nothing else they will probably be better placed to know of a 'board' in the same area.

If you're a victim of ID fraud you only need to contact one of the three credit reference agencies (Experian, Equifax and Callcredit) initially as they will alert the others for you. There are security measures you could take to shore up your credit history, such as a CIFAS Protective Registration. Really depends whether this is fraud or simply an admin error. Can HMRC not shine any light on it?
