I would have thought it should have been in your account by now too, if it takes 3 days as from the 9th, excluding weekends.
Realistically on Monday just gone.
I would contact the CEO, of HSBC who will forward your email on to the relevant dept, tell them you were told on the 9th, but that was a week today and still nothing in the account.

The delay? They tried to go behind my back and pay the refund into my loan account. The terms of the settlement (on which i accepted) was payment by cheque because i don't owe them anything on the credit card. Though this was authorised by a senior manager, the PPI team said he should not have done this.

They went behind my back for my default charges refund as well (offered me a cheque then didn't pay it) and in that case I lost the whole refund. The FOS let them keep it but that's a long story and they still owe me a few hundred from it (I didn't accept the FOS decision).

I'm waiting ....

Hi all

I got back from HFC £2800 I got letter saying it be 28 days. It is now day 28 but still nothing in my bank

Can any one help

What date did you receive your offer and what date did you send it back?

I'[m in a similar position of nearly at the 28 days.
