Iphone 4s on Tesco Mobile

Like quite a few of us i have pre registered for the iphone 4s with tesco, like a few of us I have received a text every tuesday to say there are none...

Just wondering if anyone out there had any idea what the deal is, are we likely to be waiting till after christmas or a few weeks. Problem is, as far as I can tell, the Tesco deal is unbeatable ( I refuse to sign a contract for anything over 12 months...)

I tried to get O2 to pricematch with the retentions department, they couldnt even get close to being competative, they were more expensive for less minutes and a more expensive phone!

They're stuffed until they get an allocation - just enjoy the free 250 Clubcard points you get for the disappointment of waiting! The full pricing is already on the website, not really a deal, but good for those of us that refuse to be tied to longer than 12 months on a contract.

I'd gove o2 another try maybe, just ask for your PAC amd when they ask why you're leaving tell them. I actually got two offers better than the tesco one this way. They stuffed the first one up so made me another offer than was better than the first and about £50 cheaper than tesco over the year.

Over 12 months it's cheaper to buy the phone from Apple and get a PAYG card from GiffGaff. There is no contract.

I ordered from Apple on 28/10 and it was shipped today.

Is that right? I thought I had looked at the numbers for the Giffgaff and buying from Apple direct option, obviously my maths was out

As it happens I am eligible for a 20% vodafone discount so it makes their 12 month 4s deal unbeatable for the minutes I need, and no more waiting around for Tesco!
