Anybody had to get a refund? I ordered a scarf and got the £20 new customer discount and £20 Elle gift card. However the quality is poor so I am sending it back.

Unfortunately I had thrown away the gift card in the meantime, so am not sure if I'm about to lose the value :(
I've got a plan so cunning you could put a tail on it and call it a weasel.

I did this - used the gift card and the code, paid £19 for a scarf and gloves. Returned them as the quality was not great and got a £19 refund and my card value is nil! Not what you wanted to hear but hope that helps :)

If you can, return them to a shop. The gift amount doesn't show on the delivery note so you should be refunded the amount you paid + the £20 Elle card amount.

Can anyone tell me if this magazine with the giftcard is still available in the shops?

There are not many about. Be quick because the next issue is out soon. I got 3 copies today. Had to go to about 7 shops to get them!

  • Does anyone know: If I buy two pairs of shoes, with the Elle card and the welcome voucher, and return one pair (and keep the other pair) will the refund go back onto my credit card, be allocated to the Elle card (which means it would be lost) or halfy-half. Hope that makes sense !!!
  • Has anyone had a problem when paying for an item and postage solely with the card? I have a bracelet in my basket and have used the 25% off and the gift card which means the bracelet came to £19. I've input the elle card details on the payment screen and it says that the total value I owe is now 0. It still asks for credit/debit card details which I input, but on the next screen it says that the debit card is unavailable for payment. Does anyone know a workaround?

They want you to pay at least £1... so I suggest you put that you want to spend not £20, but £18 from your giftcard.. and therefore pay £1 buy your credit/debit card.... hope that makes sense and HTH :)
