On another note though, no wonder shops retract offers etc when people go OTT and have several of the offer, I understand why we do it and ive been known to in the past, but we do take a bit of a liberty.

I am 99.9% that have added this line to the T&Cs TODAY.

I specifically checked this out yesterday and it WAS NOT there in the T&Cs.

It is written in the magazine on page 283.

I am sure that they will all be cancelled tomorrow. I just hope that they allow the cards to be used again without the welcome discount and on full price goods. I expect they won't be able to though as using it probably cancels it etc

There are some nice Miss KG flats that would be worth it if they did cancel our orders, although really hope they let us use our gift cards again!

Mmmm.........I may be imaging it but I am sure that when I read the T&C's it stated that cash refunds would not be offered, but the value of the card would be refunded back onto a gift card if you returned your item.

did anyone get the £50 gift cards dispatch emails, just wondering if it might be worth getting another Elle gift card for future use

I had the despatch email for my order- a pair of shoes and a bag. The only problem is the order amount hasn't taken one lot of £20 off, so showig as £42 instead of £22 which it did at the time. No money taken from account but will let you know asap when it is.

As a side note, I did an order for the £50 gift card BEFORE this order and haven't received anything for this yet, so looks like they might be honouring the actual orders but not the gift card ones. Hope they put the other £20 back on so can do another order in that case x
