Hmm. Sounds a bit like jaeger last week.

I dont imagine there is any chance that they will allow the welcome code plus the elle gift card or that they will send out any kg gift cards.

I just hope that when they refund the orders they reactivate the used elle gift cards so that they can be used again without the welcome code etc. Unlike jaeger this wasn't free to try as each mag cost £3.80 and so when they cancel there will be some loss.

I was wondering the same thing about buying the gift card in store! Apparently the shops were accepting the elle cards on sale items until head office alerted the staff :eek: (have a feeling that was today) I hope the online orders are honored. Although I tried on the shoes I ordered in the shop and they seemed a little on the small side! (never usually had that problem with kurt geiger) Has anyone bought online before? Can you exchange them in store or do you have to send them back? On the website it just mentions free postal returns. Thanks in advance!

They only have the £100 gift cards left now. I can't believe I was faffing about today doing housework rather than being on grabbit!

TBH a gift card is the equivalent of cash!! so you can use this with a new customer code! End off!!!

A gift card is usually purchased by someone with cash!!

I managed to use gift card & code £14 taken from bank account but no confirmation email as of yet sud i be worried. People who order how soon did ur email come through pls?

They have to! A gift card is cash!! The welcome code is valid and a gift card is not like a pair of shoes - they really cannot say they are out of stock! Its a bit of plastic and they add the spending amount to it!!

I hope they honour my purchase as the boots cost £85!! bargain at £45 well a good price and I love them, but at £85 they'll be going back!!!!

It says in the terms and conditions that it can't be combined with any other offer. That would cover welcome cards and reduced items.

No they don't as it says in the terms that it can only be used on full price items and cannot be combined with any other offer. Think that just about covers them.

Plus the terms also say that they reserve the right to change the terms at any time. So I imagine a change to not allow it to purchase gift cards is about to happened.

So stricyly speaking its not a gift card!! Its a voucher - very misleading!!:mad:

I only bought £85 boots so I will only be cross if I lose out on the £3.80 I spent on a magazine that is still in its packaging! Mind you did see a 25% of oasis headline!!
