Unwanted premium rate text services - the good news.. how you can stop them
Hi All
Like many mobile users, I have, in the past been affected by scam texts costing £1.50+ to receive even though I havent requested them.
There is an organisation called http://www.grumbletext.co.uk
who have been featured in places like BBC radio 5 live etc that are pushing hard to stop this nonsense.
There advice is:
If you are receiving premium rate text messages, typically costing £1.50 per message, then there is now a universal command to stop them.
Simply text back to the 4 or 5 digit number with JUST the words:
STOP ALL
Their website is excellent and has more advice on how to deal with this problem.
