17 Year old Driving :)

Hi, I turn 17 soon and I wish to drive, I was wondering how much a Ford Ka, green would roughly cost to insure and tax, also what is the best way to learn to drive, Also is £450 a good price for a Ford Ka, MOT until June, Tax until March/April. Thanks for the help in advance :)

It depends on the year of the car but as a first time one it will do you, as for insurance it will still be a lot I would guess at approx £1000-£1500.00

Well my daughter (18) took insurance out for a Daweoo matiz 900cc and it cost 2k and that was getting pass plus

Its very expensive generally for a male young driver it could be a lot more than that

As for car you give little to go on age, mileage, condition

re the cost of the car yes it seems ok but depends on the age and if theres anything dodgy about it, whos the owner ? is it a female or a guy,

Also what insurance would be best? Fully comp, 3rd party fire and theft or just 3rd party?

    Fully comp, £1000 voluntary excess.

Try Quinn. When Kids were learning and first driving we got the best quotes from them. That was however on my car. It might be cheaper to go on to parents car.
