It may be some kind of omission on my part but I did not read another thread by the OP - and even I, with the opportunity to read and post on this forum, do not have the time (or, let it be said, inclination) to go looking for it to bring it up here, "relevant" or not.

I do read another forum (TWOP), populated and contributed to by our trans-Atlantic brethren -and it is very well moderated; on there you would find that posts that were not relevant to the topic of conversation are pulled by the ruthless moderators, no fuss. I also find that the level of intelligence surpasses ours - even though the forums are actually about TV - and my favourites being Smallville and some of the RH franchises. (ducks)

Back to the topic though - and of course, I base what I have said on this thread only and the original point/question/worry of the OP - and I stand by every word I have said and support both dark lady and ceridwen in their comments. It is such a shame that yet another opportunity has presented itself for small-minded bigots to make their much-laboured point when in fact it was only tenuously linked to the original point being made.

From the OPs other threads its obvious he is a work-shy, lazy layabout whos got no intention of ever working for a living.

far from it. Instead of starting this thread he could have replied to his original thread with; "Well I went in for my first day and..............." as this thread leads directly off his last one.

I don't doubt that you are in full time gainful employment; if you are at work and posting here, be ashamed of yourselves. If you aren't at work and checking in later or just got in from the night shift, you must CERTAINLY have something better to do than make yourselves look like fools (not mention, simply nasty people) on here. I hope the back-slappers, I mean thankers go with you. Pathetic.

I hope the OP stays away now, although the thread, much as I may consider requesting it be locked/deleted, should stay as a warning (somebody is already dipping a toe in the water) to simply not bother coming to this forum/thread for advice on a matter that brings the worst out in people.

Genuine question OP. Would you really be happier if it was possible that you could have an hour break for lunch at 12 and then having to work from 1 until 2 to get in your 5 hours? You do realise I hope that lunch breaks are nearly always unpaid?

I know a lot of people where I worked who were on full time hours would have loved to have worked through their lunch hour and gone home an hour earlier but it was not allowed.

I was up at 9.00, and I have not had anything to eat or drink yet
