Needing a meal every four hours is nothing to do with needing to eat for ones health. It is purely habit and a relatively modern obsession with food. Human beings along with most animals can get along fine on irregular eating when available. Attitudes such as OPs are what lead indirectly to many of the "eating disorders" that we see today.0

Anybody who knows anything about digestion, nutrition and metabolism knows that irregular and chaotic eating patterns, crash diets, missed meals will impact on health, energy levels and both mental and physical well-being.
You know that.
Surely.
And I certainly do.
I agree with dark lady on another point that she made:
"This site is becoming absolutely ridiculous."
And I am in a foul mood now as I was cheerfully watching "In One Day" and was presented with the image of several shots to slaughter a cow and couldn't change the bl00dy channel quickly enough - so, if you want to, just keep on.0 -

It would have to be very indirectly.0 -

Why?
Seriously.
The discussion has become about something of a bigger picture - your shouting and stubborn repetition is making you look silly or nasty or both.
stubborn repetition? weird. I finished work at 3:30pm and only logged on about an hour ago.
I 'shouted' because Dark Lady seemed to completely overlook the fact the OP hadn't worked long enough to get a break, and didn't work through lunch time. so i was bringing it to her attention, along with the fact he'd moaned about it yet still didn't eat.0 -
The ones who are restricted on how often they can eat are the ones who either stay the same or even gain a little weight yes thats right, gain it
.
and is often because they over compensate. If you miss meals but drink enough fluids you don't need to eat more when you do catch up with your meals.
I do the same mistake as the ones you're talking about; I'll skip meals and then I'll be hungry later and make a big meal rather than a reasonable sized one because i think i'm hungrier than i actually am.0 -

In the sense of obsessing over food.0 -
The post content itself seemed repetitive.
Just caps or bolding would have sufficed if you really felt the need to shout, which I mantain was unnecessary and rude (and I bet* you wouldn't do it IRL).

depends really.. I do have a short fuse when somebody doesn't grasp something that's been repeated and i get frustrated rather than angry.0
