I joined the Lovefilm a month ago - (with the free 30 x day trial - and £10 Argos voucher) - I was originally going to only keep the account open for the month and then cancel - BUT - I love Lovefilm that much - I have kept it - its great - what better way to choose your movies etc..

I have to say I too was going to cancel but have decided not to, it has already saved me money from not buying dvds that I fancied buying, instead I rented them and found they were rubbish thus saving money and space fab! Also got to say they have sent me some cracking dvds some on same day they have been released and service is excellent so quick.

Lovefilm run Tesco dvd rentals as well.

    I signed up for the £5.99 2 games a month, I don't play a game once completed so I save £50 a month.
  • I signed up for the same reason - the £20 amazon voucher.
I found the service really quick and easy and if I had the time to watch tons of films I would probably sign up for a longer spell.
I had a little problem trying to cancel before the free trial. They wanted me to ring and i couldn't get through within 5 mins so I sent them an email saying I wanted to cancel and they did it.
They have sent me a couple of offers since but I haven't taken them up on it.

Probably not the right place to ask.

Has anyone tried there 30 day FREE trial and then cancelled. Just wondering how easy they are to cancel, as got a free 30 trial and £20 amazon voucher offer through the door today.

Might be worth getting a FREE film to watch and £20 voucher.

    Thanks for any replies

I was on love film for a few months and it was rubbish. Your forever waiting for what you want and you have to have 10 titles in your queue and find that you are constantly getting what you do not want in your queue rather than what you do. Total waste of time.

I don't understand why you would put a film on your list if you didn't want it?

After seeing this thread I decided to give it a go and sign up, there's been a few xmas prezzies I wanted to get from Amazon, so thought the voucher would come in handy.
I signed up on the 16th, my film was dispatched on the 17th, it arrived on the 18th, and I just got my voucher emailed to me about 10mins ago. Very impressed with the service, because I was expecting it to take 30 days! Actually considering keeping the subscription because we watch quite a few films and they're quite reasonable.
  • I signed up for the same reason as everyone else it seems, I was planning on canceling but I think now I'm going to keep it, for a bit at least. I love it. There's so manyy films that I've been meaning to watch that didn't get around to when they were in the cinema and didn't really want to end up buying. That, and there's some exercise dvds on there that I've wanted to try for a while but again didn't want to buy. Love it.

  • I signed up with LoveFilm for the voucher with the intention of cancelling before 30 days, but I'm impressed with the service I think i'll stick with them, usually get my Blurays through 48 hours after sending them back. I wouldn't bother if it was just DVDs, as those are so cheap, but for Bluray I'd say it's worth it for the quality V DVD/downloads and the comparitive price if I had bought them outright.

I signed up early this year through OnePoll cashback and did it strictly for the £15 cashback. Rented one film, watched it, returned it and cancelled the free trial online. Easy as anything and the customer service was very good too - all my emails were acknowledged etc.
