Hi, just to update: As you all know I'm claiming back for most of my family! So far:
1/ Natwest - my Mum had 3 loans running into each other from 03-present day. RBS have offered her £7,500 in total for those (rec'd 1 amount, just waiting on other 2)
2/ Capital 1 - again 1 of my Mum's and she's been offered £95 (just waiting on chq)
Both of these were within about 9 weeks of original claim.
I have a question if poss. My brother has a large RBS loan which has just over 2 years left to run at £500 per month. RBS wrote to him last week and offered just over £700 which I though was way too low (it has been running for 3 and half years). So I have refused offer and asked for specific figures but does anyone have any ideas of very roughly what he is looking to get back?
Many thanks

Right some more updates
My mum has now rec'd the other £900 odd in her natwest acc which they owed her before xmas and also the £1300 from Barclays appeared last week in her account so she is more or less finished with her claims now.
My brother has been offered £6600 from one rbs loan and £700 from another so we are just waiting for those to credit.
Also my sister accepted an offer from Halifax credit card for just under £400 and rec's an offer yesterday from MBNA for £1750 which she is accepting which is great news as she is really struggling at the moment.
I will update as they come in! I'm expecting to hear about 2 of my own claims in the next few days.

Well done on your successes. Question though what have you said are your grounds for being mis sold? I am currently starting my claim but most loans I took out I can not remember anything about application process. Most of mine done over Internet0

Hi lilykate5,
All of the family have or are still working for NHS, local Government etc whereby sickness etc is covered for 6 months full pay and 6 months half pay so therefore ppi wasn't needed and clearly not explained properly at time of sale as none of us would have taken it.
Some of the loans I remember (having sat in branch) feeling pressured into the ppi 'you are more likely to get the loan if you tick the box' type of thing.
Hope that helps x0
