    Good Morning x

A very damp and grey day both outside and in my head:eek::eek::eek:

My anxiety has kicked back into gear but trying to get a grip on it as we speak - think mantras and relaxation.

Bramble - thinking of you honey x
Jackie G - so lovely for you all as I know it has been a tough few years as regards your husband's work.
Julie - really up your fluid intake and keep eating small amounts regularly as keeping blood sugars stable does help. The baby takes such a lot of fluid in order to grow and replenish the amniotic fluid. Also your blood vessels expand for the extra blood you need which also adds to low B/P. It is a very common problem so hope that reassures you somewhat.
Hester - take it steady and hope day improved.
Redruby - dont you think you should pop the heating on now especially as you are recovering from a chest infection?

Ok im off to put some more washing on. Bl00dy machine is beeping at me and so are the Guinea Pigs....aaahhhhh Think Pavlov's Guinea Pig
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

    Morning Morning,

thank you for your kind thoughts everyone, i'm truely touched. Not in a great mood today, and really could do without going to see lots of rappers tonight(not my scene at the best of times!:o) but I shall go, and try to have a good time.

I am working a half day, then home for a few hours to get packed and sorted before heading out.

JG - well done to DS and his swimming :) I loved swimming as a child. Wish i could get back into it really!

Downloaded an audio book last night to see if i can get on with them, as don't want to actually buy any books at the moment waiting to get my kindle next month! If not i'll get a magazine to read on the flight.

(((Hugs))) Bramble - make sure you take care of yourself in this stressful time

JG - congratulations you are right to be very proud!

Hugs and best wishes to everyone else in need and I hope the poorlies soon feel better

Sorry not posting much at the moment again. I do read everyday and keep up with all your news but dont seem to be able to post without sounding really down so have deleted all the ones I have part typed:( - sorry!

However today I can post with some lovely news - I am going to be a Grandma!!!!! DD1 (27) is expecting - its very early days yet so fingers crossed. We haven't told many people yet, waiting till she is a little further along but really wanted to tell all my virtual friends on here - after all you have all shared all the downs with me this year and been so supportive, so thought it was only right that you should be one of the first to know a lovely high!:D (Those who I am friends with on facebook - please dont refer to it on there yet as she hasn't told the people at work yet)

I have my "friend" staying with me for a week or so, sold house last friday and doesn't get keys for the new place until next monday, so it has been nice having someone to cook for and look after again for a while (also a chance to see how things go when we are together much more, usually just see each other 1 evening a week!) It has been going very well!

So day off today and a chance to catch up with the housework. Gammon, mash and veg for tea - my favourite yum!

    Have a good day everyone

    Morning everyone

Wet dark and murky here this morning, although rain has stopped. Am going to risk putting washing out on the line, have so much daren't try to dry it all in the TD, it will cost way too much.

DH up and off to work at stupid early o'clock. Dinner last night was roast chicken, mash, veg, yorkshires and gravy, then banana custard. For tonight I'm going to use up LO's from the fridge with storecupboard items, I have 2 x gammon steaks, mushrooms, chicken - so am thinking along the lines of a gammon, chicken, mushroom pasta bake, with HM bread and corn on the cob - don't want to throw any of the LO's away. Not so long ago I would have left items in fridge until it was unusable and then thrown it away.

Will be doing the normal round of chores, must get washing, drying and ironing done today, but also need to do housework, menu plan etc. Want to try to make a start on rally stuff and get letters etc out within next few days. Friend came over yesterday after school with her son for a coffee and a catch up - haven't seen her for several weeks so lots of coffee and chat. Boys now left the house, peace reins! For the moment anyway lots to do etc!

Have a great day everyone, hugs to those that need/want them, take care.

    Dismal outside -very autumnal.
I like autumn but the rain and cold really affects my arthritis
I have an appointment with the rheumatologist at the hospital today, so I am off for a shower in a little while.

Nic How lovely to see that life is looking up for you after such a tough year x

DH took DD down to her BF's last night and saw 5 youths attacking a boy of about 17 they had him on the ground nd were kicking the s*it out of him.
DH stopped the car while DD phoned the police. DH yelled at them and the boy managed to run off, they gave him a load of "yeah come on" until they saw that he was built like a brick outhouse and they ran off. But what upset him the most was that about 6 cars had driven past and no one stopped to help this boy
Oh well best get on, will catch up later.

    Have good days all x

    morning!

off to work later but loads to do first - just having a coffee aowl of cereal.

Am feeling really overwhelmed at the moment with keeping up with everything :(- doesn't help working 6 out of 7 days every other week.
Can only seem to get the basics done - my painting and decorating of the hall and stairs has come to a full stop(started sat Easter) and I have no energy or motivation to finish it.

Anyway - enough moaning:D this morning I'm making some celery soup for my lunches for the next few days.
I've cleaned the kitchen floor(wet dogs etc) changed their bedding, washed DSs bedding and put away all the washing out of the airing cupboard plus finished a load off in the TD.. I've also hoovered the whole house and cleaned the toilet. All before a full shift at work!:A:D

    Bramble (((hugs)))

JackieG - I gather congratulations to DH are in order(will run and check yesterdays thread)

JackieO - good luck with your tests and hope DDs car doesn't cost too much! x

Butterfly - well done to your DH:T

    Nic - congratulations!:beer::T

off for a quick browse now before driving to pick up DS from his GFs.

Have a great day all x
