Ending 3 contract due to no service

Hi, I took out a 2 year contract with 3 (silly silly me) last year and from the very beginning I have never been able to get reception at home (I'm a stay at home mum and don't have a landline so I really need my phone to work at home). I kept paying for my previous mobile contract on a rolling basis and have therefore been paying for two contracts for the past year. I'm on benefits so this is a really big issue for me.
I have lost count of the number of times I've called them to try and get this sorted but have just been fobbed off to technical support and made to go through ridiculous diagnostic tests which take ages to do and are not very practical with a manic toddler climbing all over me. I have thought of just cancelling the direct debit but really don't want to end up with court action against me.
I recently came across a posting on this site saying that 3 does not have a time limit on ending contracts due to problems with reception (tried to paste in link but not allowed as a newbie). Delighted when I read this so I filled in a 3 online complaint form a few weeks ago. Have not heard a single thing from them and am SEETHING!!!! Does anyone have any advice about how I can end this contract and stop paying precious money for something I can't even use???!!!

Generally lack opf signal is not a reason to cancel so far into a contract. If you have suddenly lost signal, or you have just taken the contract out and found it has no signal at home thats different but not a year in.
That saids Three sometimes let people out, but it was mainly when they turned off some mast last year, all you can do it keep trying to get them to let you cancel but theres no magic letter that can do it.
You can try the executive / directors office the email address is on here if you do a little searching.

I have been without signal for weeks now, it was a few calls dropped before but last week the signal just disappeared. The call center advisers are of no help - each time someone is raising a case and nothing happens. Sent an email to the executive office and reply was call 333 from your mobile more investigating needed (auto email)

I am surprised you were allowed to take out a contract on benefits. I may need to have a word with Mr Cameron!0
