Tesco Broadband

I am looking to change my ISP and see that Tesco are offering a £4 discount for 12 months. Our exchange is ancient so we can't get most of the good deals on offer. I would like to know if anyone is happy with Tesco (or not!)
Thanks

I'm considering TalkTalk or Tesco broadband at the moment. A review would be great!

But a £4 discount on what? What matters is the actual price, not the discount. Tesco are just reselling the BT Wholesale service. What are your LLU options?

If it's broadband only deal then it will indeed be BT Wholesale based. If it's the line rental, call package + broadband then it's Cable & Wireless based full LLU - http://www.easier.com/62031-tesco-announces-cable-wireless-as-broadband-partner.html
Either way reviews for Tesco broadband are thin on the ground.

thanks for that info. If tesco are using BT or C&W it should be ok, we can hope.

Tesco BB is £20 a month roughly with £4 off that for 12 months so £16 a month.

    does that include line rental....
  • I changed from having a BT homephone only, to Tesco phone and BB..

£18.99 a month, with months 2-5 just paying the phone rental, via a quidco deal (with some cashback on top!)

speeds between 9-14mbs so they claim, and a decent 100gb 'fair use' allowance, which i have yet to challenge!

Sounds like BT Wholesale resold, and if rumour is true via Virgin Media.
