Engineer Not Sending Vaillant Boiler Warranty Paperwork

Had a new boiler/central heating system done beg September. We paid a bit extra to extend warranty to 5 years. At the time we took it out Vaillant only did a 2 year warranty(they are offering this as standard at the moment). Engineer told me he would send off the paperwork for the warranty and I would receive a certificate in the post. He done a fantastic job - was very neat, tidy, good price and work excellent. He is a local recommended businessman and we have receipts etc for the job however we are having trouble getting him to send off the warranty paperwork. I contacted Vaillant and because it was a 5 year warranty he needs to do this through the rep. I have phoned him and text him around 7 or 8 times now and each time he tells me he has sent off the paperwork however when I contact Vaillant they say it has not been received. I gave Vaillant his tel number 3 weeks ago and he assured them he would send it off. However as I've still not received the warranty I contacted Vaillant last Friday and its still not been sent in . Now he's not answering calls or texts or answering messages left and I don't know what to do. I can't send it off as he took all the paperwork. The boiler should be registered within 30 days to validate the warranty so that's not happened. Where do I go next if I can't get in touch with the engineer and how do I get my warrant sorted?

Write to the installer and to Vaillant. You should have given up on phoning and texting a few weeks ago. You should ask Vaillant how the default of the installer can be remedied.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. Hi,
No I don't.
However if I put myself in your shoes I would want to know that the installer is legit.
Have you actually checked he is Gas Safe Registered and that he is the name and face on the card.
Have you seen a certificate of compliance yet?
It has 'Building Regulations Compliance' on it, not gas safety record or any such wording.
GSRAsk to see CIPHE (Chartered Institute of Plumbing & Heating Engineering)0 -
yes he is legit. Checked before I booked him - loads of local people use him which is why I'm confused he hasn't got back to me. Have received my building regulations compliance certificate stating he installed the boiler and he is gas safe registered. Like I said extremely pleased with the job, the price, the quality of work - absolutely everything but not the warranty info0
