No. Just need to print off the application form (sign and date it) and post it to them with a cheque for the opening deposit.
I find their website very flaky as it tells me that my two browsers (IE & Firefox are not supported.:rotfl:Named after my cat, picture coming shortly0 -

Mine disappeared when I clicked the PRINT tab and was never seen again. I got a message saying that my application was in progress. Am still waiting for the form.

Yes, correct.
Also you don't have to, but I wrote the account ref number (get issued this at the end when you have completed the application and printed it off) on the back of the cheque, in case it gets mis-placed they can link it with your application.Never let the perfume of the premium overpower the odour of the risk0 -
Thinking of going for the 12 month 3.6%, is it £2k min.?

The funds where taken from my account today. It says that I should wait 14 days from clearance to receipt of savings certificate.Do you send an email to confirm its on its way.All I have at the moment is an online message saying application pending.0

Tried printing the form today and got an error: Application is currently unavailable. Please inform the technical help desk with the following error

same thing when trying to reprint it.
Yet the website and email still want me to send the printed form and states "Please sign and send us your pre printed copy of the application form. We are unable to accept any other form of application."
So what to do now? do I phone the online banking helpdesk did they fix the problem for anyone? or try doing a new application and printing it off?
edit: was using ie90 -

I'll assume for the moment that they operate on the same lines as the Clydesdale Bank. You should receive an acknowledgement that your application is being processed and following the process you will receive a certificate of confirmation
If they are anything like the Clydesdale in Glasgow they are slow to process trotting out the usual excuse that they have been overwhelmed with applications for this product0 -

Give the online banking helpdesk a try, see what they advise to do.
Sorry cant say if they fix the problem or ask you to start another application, fortunately for me it worked when I pressed the print button.
