Switching Sim Card
Some info please.
Am coming to end of 12 month contract with a Nokia 6320i, have been offered an upgrade of a SE 850i, thing is I want to keep my Nokia and my daughter wants the SE 850i as she is just on an old PAYG nokia, both sims are on O2 just want to know if the PAYG sim will work in the SE 850i phone as I've just read its a 3G.

it should do but you may not be able to use the video calling or other 3g functions

The O2 3G Sim will work fine in your Nokia.
If your daughter uses her PAYG sim in the phone, it will work fine.
But unless her old phone was a 3G one, the phone will not let her log into O2's 3G network. She will still be able to use the 2G (standard) network. She could phone up customer care, and ask for a them to send prepay 3G sim and get them to move her number on to it.This is a system account and does not represent a real person. Thanks for replys, in previous years we just mix and match phones with sims but having seen this is a 3G i had my doubts.
Hopefully all will be ok, if not will just get the prepay 3G sim.
