V3i broken screen

I have just cracked the front screen on my Motorola V3i. Does anyone know if it possible to get the screen replaced?

yes it is possible, you could get it done at a local phone unlocking shop/market stall or send it back under warranty(maybe)

here is an lcd off ebay if you feel up to having a go yourself
  • thanks very much. I will take it in to town, don't fancy trying it myself.

Hi I broke my V3i. Took it down the local market cost £10.00 to get it repaired. Took about 30 Min's and its as good as new. :D

Mine was the outside screen that needed replacing.
You can always get more with a kind word and a 2-by-4 than with just a kind word.

    outer lens cover

here is a post about another v3 being fragile
  • thanks again gaming_guy. I have now read the other post but I cannot say with conviction that I did not have something else in my pocket at the same time as the phone, and that may have caused the break. I have had the phone for 10 months and have been perfectly happy with it, although i don't use it a great deal. I appreciate you finding the links, I wouldn't really have know what to search for. As the part is fairly cheap that fits in with Skint1 having a repair for £10, so I'll try the market, probably tomorrow.
