If you read back, I tried everything and finally Birmingham Trading Standards sorted it for me. WAE never got back in touch with me, not emailing me to tell me they had refunded, but it just appeared in my bank. Birmingham Trading Standards told me my own authority's Trading Standards should have dealt with it, but as they had pass d the buck and told me it was out of their area, Birmingham did it for me. Consumer Direct were no help at all - maybe their 'quality' varies with different areas but I was really pleased with Birmingham Trading Standards as they seemed to have a more 'human' approach and dint want to pass the buck or quote regulations about who lives in which area and who is responsible for chasing up dishonest traders. I am really surprised though, that WAE are still in business!

Nice of TS to do something, they sometimes get involved in the bigger issues rather than the smaller ones
