Simply Be Website Newbie - Payment question...

I purchased an item via simply be website on 24 November and opened an account with them at the same time. I made a payment at the same time with them for the value of the items I bought, so I owe nothing.
I checked with my bank to make sure that I had done everything right and they could see the payment pending to go out of my account.
Now a week later, I have received the items and am happy with them but have not yet had the amount debited from my bank account.
I have checked my credit account with them in case they've debited that instead and it states no payments due and the items are still marked as 'not yet charged'.
I have contacted my bank again and they say no payments are due or have been made to simply be.
In case I don't get charged in any way for my item, because it wasn't particularly cheap, how long is it until the item is "mine"?

My Pearl of Wisdom : Don't be scared to say "I can't afford it", or "I'm skint" to anything... If you're lucky, you'll still be able to do what you want, just find a different way -and if you can't, you don't need it anyway!

Yes , I have received the item and am happy with it so won't be returning it. I'm just a bit concerned in case I get a narky letter from them saying that I haven't paid them, what with being a new account holder with them.Spare change tin in force this year!NRAM PPI : £6022.56 - WIN! :jLLOYDS PPI : £4684.66 - WIN! :jMy Pearl of Wisdom : Don't be scared to say "I can't afford it", or "I'm skint" to anything... Just call them.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0 -
I wonder if they'll wait for confirmation of delivery before charging? There's a storm coming, Mr Johnson. You and your friends better batten down the hatches, because when it hits, you're all gonna wonder how you ever thought you could live so large and leave so little for the rest of us.0
