Oooh AND he can buy shoes as gifts!
 Ok, now I'm interested . .
Just been dying on the sofa & watching Jamie's Great Britain. I think he has my kind of camper van . .
Ok, let's talk about the money:
 - in my pocket money purse I have £21 left.
I already had £15 in my pocket money purse before I added £60 from my pocket money money fund.
I therefore spent £54 from there.
 - in my everyday purse I have £8 left.
I already had about £3 + change in there & added £30 from the Fun fund
I therefore spent £25 from there.
I know the train fare was £3.10 & the taxi fare was £20 so we can deduce therefore, that the round of drinks I bought, cost .... £56 .
I do remember trying to buy a round, Highly Annoying then getting all manly & telling me that when they take 'ladies' out, the ladies don't pay. That always makes my hackle rise & as we were in fact celebrating The Chief's impending marriage, I insisted on buying him a drink . .
I also remember feeling that Highly Annoying's speech came across as somewhat 'proprietorial' ( if that's the right word ?) & made me a bit uneasy as to whether he felt he was taking ownership of me for the night . As my memory returns in fragments, I have a slightly distasteful remembrance of him trying to hold my hand in the taxi ... eeeeeuuuuuuuwwwwww _pale_.
Anyway, as DD took £20 for her night out & I used up the other £30; the Fun fund is now empty . .
Total spends on Friday was £250.93p.
 Total spend today is £000 - NSD 12 :j.
I'll be trying to resist the urge to go to Waitrose & stock up on fresh fruit & veg tomorrow. I'm sure we can get by with what we have in stock & for any bits we might need, such as milk I'm going to use the co op vouchers . 0 . 0

            Ooh sorry Rosa,
was so busy typing my own reply that I missed yours . .
Thanks for the ebook link :A & I can't wait to hear about the boat viewing , would storage space be an option for some stuff ? - ooh cheery - forgot your post too, I've only recently become aware that you were also a boaty .
I absolutely loved living on the boat, * wonders if Mr. Laidback might be persuaded to buy one  * & still keep that option open for a possible E.F.R. * & still keep that option open for a possible E.F.R.
Off to watch some Merlin now ...0

Or you have eclectic tastes. I'll pretty much listen to most good music from the Big Band era up to Adele. I irritate my workmates by liking both heavy metal and opera..."Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)
