Anyone know what happened to Finance Solutions (UK) Ltd?

Whilst looking through all my paperwork as I am trying to put together a few different cases of mis-sold PPI I came across one for a loan from Finance Solutions (UK) Ltd which had a scary amount of PPI added to it and was obviously taken out between 2002 -2004 (can't remember date exactly) due to the address we were staying at the time.
But when I tried to find websitephone number etc to contact company to get any of my paperwork sent out to look at can't find website and despite the company being listed on the address I have on the paperwork I do have on several search sites there is no contact details except a phone number and when I tried phoning it it was not recognised, so I have sick feeling in my gut company has folded but does anyone on here have any other info about the company or dealings with it?

According to Companies House, Finance Solutions (UK) Ltd only started trading in 2008 so are you sure you have got the right company name ?

definitely that name, address is market street hyde cheshire, and we only stayed in the house (address on agreement form) between 2002 -2004 How can that be????

Don't understand how it has 2008 that was 4 years after we moved out house!!

Starting to feel I have entered the twilight zone with all these finance companies......lol
