Sons Account on my Credit Report, 2nd time this Year

in Credit cards
Hi All
My son has the same first & surname as me, and also has a Santander current account.
In Feb 11 I noticed, via my Credit Expert membership, that his account was on my report and had arrears.
I appealed and got it removed but to my horror i was refused when i applied for the Capital 1 card recently.
I have checked my Equifax ID Watch Lite, which i was given for 12 monthes free when i cancelled, and the account is back on my report with fairly substantial arrears.
The date of birth given is indeed my sons so i'm not sure how it is on there.
I want to take this higher now and make sure it is removed permanently.
My questions are:
-Do I have a complaint to levy with Santander?
-Do I have a complaint to levy with the credit agencies?
-What recourse is available, as i have had 2 credit applications refused recetly and suspect both will be down to this error.
-How does the system work, ie: Do Santander send the information over to agencies and they then decide where to put it or doSantander specify that?
-Is there anything else I can do to prevent this reoccurring?
Many thanks in advance

It will be down to the cra's incorrectly assoicating your data, not really going to get anything out of them apart from sorryDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0

Should of made myself clearer, I didn't mean anything financial, although thinking about it a years free membership so i can keep an eye out would be good!
I meant regarding appealing the previous decisions, maybe with the CRA's help or assistance0 -
if you send them a copy of the report they may overturn the appeal, but lenders dont have to.Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0

Appeals generally have to be done within 28 days of the original application, the lender may just ask you to reapply unless you can get the information corrected within 28 days or less.Im an ex employee RBS GroupHowever Any Opinion Given On MSE Is Strictly My Own0 -
Do you think that CRA's will remove the searches?0

That's what you get for being a numpty calling their son after themselves,

Congratulations, you win the award for the most judgemental comment on this forum for 2011!
I'll be sure when I have my first-born not to name him anything that may cause an error in some future computer system that will be in existance 18 years after his birth. Oh drat, I seem to have misplaced my crystal ball.
Seriously, was that a legitimate comment? You're spelling is effecting me so much. Im trying not to be phased by it but your all making me loose my mind on mass!! My head is loosing it's hair. I'm going to take myself off the electoral role like I should of done ages ago and move to the Caribean. I already brought my plane ticket, all be it a refundable 1.0 -
well when we named our children we were careful not to even have the first lettter of their first name be the same as either my wife or I or the other children specifically to avoid issues in the future0
