  • Does anyone know, when you reapply for a passport after losing one, do you get the full 10yrs, or does it start from the date of the lost passport.

    Many thanks!

Passports are so dear because of illegal people in this country getting ones made for them. It sicken me. That are country is going down the drain because of all these people from other poor countries. I dont want my children to be worst of because of these people coming into this country just because we pay into our system. rant over.

Wrong. Our country benefits from hard-working foreigners who keep our essential services going. And they pay taxes on their earnings too, unlike our own super-rich, who have essentially sold us down the river.

Ever wondered why some countries are poor? For example, two hundred years ago India was richer than England. Then we stole India's land and wealth, ruined the economy, and left the place a wreck. It has taken the Indians the last fifty years to get back where they were before colonisation.

I totally agree with you Voyager2002, and food for thought for others, Phillip Green the man who owns the Topshop chain of stores and others, makes his profits here in the UK, often the clothes come from eastern europe ( they send loads of material out there on trucks together with sewing machines, get them to make it and send it back to be sold here, not very green Mr Green) yet gets away with having to pay £150 million in tax, becuse he lives "off shore" for 6 months in Monaco
