Indeed! and re the crocheting I am wondering about stopping this scarf (which is for me) and getting on with the one for my Mum, the only thing that is stopping me is this is getting my crochet practice in

mmmmm i think i would stop and start the one which is to be a gift, then you can have practiced your crochetting and have yours looking fab lol

Actually I seem to be cracking on with this one nicely! So I will stick with it and finish it by Wednesday and then I have the same amount of time to do my Mum's! :eek:

You feel what you feel, so I'm not going to try and talk you out of it. I will say, however, that it's a massive bonus to all of us to have you helping and supporting us through our own challenges (I'm always very grateful for your advice and additions to my diary), and don't forget we're here for you too.

As for the flakey dragon scales - it's that time of year. Drink plenty of fluids, moiturise as best you can, and remember that this too shall pass.

Thanks Nora, I think my hypothyroidism is playing silly !!!!!!s, I am bursting into tears at the drop of ... anything!, my yarn is tangled and I am just not a happy dragon

oh Dragon my friend i'm so sorry you're not feeling so smilie and the thyroid is rearing it's ugly head. i would be right there if i could to help you with everything including your tangled yarn. Please know that you're worthwhile and a lovely friend and we would really miss you, so please don't think we wouldn't.

I second, third and fourth what everyone else has said - you are one of the people here that I think of as "friends" - people I look forward to seeing posts from and who give so much support to me and many others. As Nora says - we appreciate the help you give us - so if there is anything we can do for you then you only need to let us know.

Thyroid of course plays havoc with your mood - though of course knowing why you feel like you do doesn't stop you feeling it. Hope you can stabilise things again soon so you will feel better.

Thank you everyone *sniff*, I had a talk with Dr Dragon (and yes a major crying jag as well!), we came to the conclusion that my Chronic Pain, SAD and what have you was/is to blame, I am upping my St John's Wort for a while, I have actually managed to get some things done today (bit of cleaning) so that is good
