Hi,

I have an early upgrade option available but you want me to pay £55 for the phone I want.

Do you not want to keep your existing costomers as considering you add the extra months onto the contract I cannot see why you would charge for the phone?
Debt free as of 7.20am on 31st December 2012.

Wow. Feels great :j

You should be grateful that early upgrades are available at all to be honest.

Why don't you just wait until you are in your regular upgrade window?

This is not an official support forum and you won't get a specific answer here.

Loyalty counts for very little these days, it's all about your monthly spend, and is it worth making you a deal to retain you.

The question is do they want you as a customer? If you never exceed your minutes and are on a low priced tarrif it may not be econiomical to retain you as they don't earn enough from you. If you were a good source of incume for them they would waive any upgrade fee.

Don't get me wrong I'm in the same boat, but early upgrades are a bit of a con, they know you can't go anywhere else without paying a fee, whereas if you leave it to the last month you'll probably get the phone you want free, as they know you can walk away quicker.

Are you saying that, say, giving two free phones with 48 months contract is absolutely the same as giving one with 24 months, then another one after 24 months?

What if you lose your job and default after 20 months?
