Excel Parking Charge I know NOTHING about?

Hi all,

I have received the following letter:

2qibxq8.jpg

I remember parking here but was not aware that this was an area where I would receive this parking notice!

Also, after returning to my vehicle I didnt get the notice on my windscreen!!

What can I do?? If I received the notice then fair enough, I would of taken it off my windscreen and disputed it earlier rather than having to wait for the added fees. But this letter is the first I am aware of it!

Please help!!

Thank you

  • First - stop worrying

Second - read the sticky threads at the top of this board and watch the watchdog clip.

Third - Look around the board and look at what we advise everyone to do when they get a PPC invoice (because that it is all it is) - It is IGNORE!

Fourth - Can you guess what the next step is? Yep, ignore them and have a cup of tea!
  • How nice of them to say the invoice is for the driver only and not the RK. As they have no idea who the driver was on the day in question then do as IA says and enjoy the tea.
I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.

    Many thanks for the response.

What happens now then? Do I write to them?

I recall the Media City signage is poor and illegible, as at the Peel Centre.

Ignore, but you'd have reason to seek harassment from them and the landowner - Peel Holdings probably.

How do I do that? Any template letters around outlining the harrassment bit and reasons as to why I WONT be paying the charge?

Would you reply to a scam email from those pesky Nigerians?

You ignore them and also letters from pretend solicitors.you may get phone calls. If you do just put the phone down on them

You don't need to tell them you are not paying, you did not ask them to send you the invoice, nor have you used their services!
It is best to ignore them unless they persist. Then consider a complaint!

I would take the PCN down as well we have seen them before and it could identify you.

Sorry the letter you posted from them. We have seen were people have been identified they sometimes try a little harder at intimidation. They do monitor these forums.
