Its about 1 hr 10 on busAirport - Barcelona Line

Ryanair buses between Girona-Costa Brava Airport and Barcelona (Estació del Nord, beside Arc de Triomf).

· Journey duration:
1 hour and 10 minutes.

· Timetable:
according to flights.
The approximates arrivals and departure times and the fares can be consulted on the company's webpage: Sagalés.0 -
€21 Return or €12 single - http://www.barcelona-tourist-guide.com/girona/girona-airport-barcelona.html#barcelonabus
Be very aware - these buses cannot be booked in advance and can fill up very quickly - we arrived at the bus station in Barcelona with plenty of time to spare but saw a number of people being turned away from the previous bus who were left in a panic as they didn't think they would make their flight by getting the next bus 30 minutes later.
Journey fairly pleasant though and the Metro beside the bus station gives access to most areas of the city.0 -
If you click on the "destinations" tab on the Ryanair website, then select "Barcelona (Girona) and press "view destination" you get a page where, at the bottom there are bus timetables from Girona Airport to various places - including Barcelona.
If it's a typical Ryanair flight the buses will meet up with the flight & the flight attendants will flog you a ticket whilst still in the air0 -
Wish it was an hour and 10. Has to be the furthest advertised airport to an actual city that I have ever come accross. Its felt like saying Liverpool Airport is only a short route to London.Save saynoto0870.com in your favorites, and stop giving companies more £££ dialling 0870 numbers when you can dial freephones or cheaper alternatives
call your credit card company, tell them that you want to leave, 99% of the time theyll lower your APR%
Remember when that Bank Manager or Salesperson smiles at you, all he sees is £ notes. Dont forget the motto, "the wider their grin, the more debt your in"0 -
Girona is about 60 miles from Barcelona. The bus takes about 80 minutes, but can take much longer at rush hour. Be aware if you are getting the Ryanair bus that it doesn't drop you off at the bus station (presumably they have to pay to use the bus station). Instead it drops you in a street a good half mile from the city centre. You will probably have to get the Metro or a Taxi once you get to Barcelona.
If you can I would fly into Barcelona's main airport. Easyjet and most other airlines fly into it. From there there is a regular bus service (every 10 minutes I think) which is about a 15 minute ride into the city centre.0 -
what about Girone itself??
Whats there?0 -
It's no hassle at all to get the Barcelona Bus. I got on it easy, dropped us at the bus station, and we got a taxi from there, although there is a metro station there.
They time themselves with flights, so just work out which one you need to get back.0 -

the ryanair bus dropped us off in the bus station in barcelona last year and we got the bus back from there as well0 -
Bus Station when I was there in December. Might be more hassles if you are hitting rush hour but neither of our journeys were more than 1 hour 15 minutes (and I think one of them was at the tail end of the rush)0
