£15 compensation?

Hi, I recently bought some cornflake cake from M & S and found hairs through 2 pieces. I emailed them and they asked me to send it to them, which I did (kept one though). They have sent me a voucher for £15. I just wanted to see if people thought was a decent amount for this?

depends on how much you paid for them, but i would says its OK
  • No I think it's disgusting that they only sent you £15.

I think the least they could have done was send you for a full medical (just to make sure that you were OK) and then given you hours and hours of counselling to cope with the trauma.

Oh and then given you a weeks free shop to compensate you fully.

    Seriously -what were you expecting?

Cor calm down. I was only trying to find out if most people would think it's reasonable or not. Someone got out of bed the wrong side it seems. :rotfl:

Anything more than the price you paid, a replacement and an apology is a bonus.

I found a dead spider in my wheatabix about 9 years ago, I have never run so fast to the kitchen sink for water in all my life!!! I took photos and sent it off and trust me I know 20000% it was a spider and they wrote back saying I was mistaken but sent me £20 for my 'troubles'. I was really annoyed because I couldn't have given a hoot about the money but for them to fob me off grrrrrr. I know this sounds silly but I have only just started to be able to eat wheatabix again it was that traumatic, I do have quite a serious spider aversion though lol.

I wrote to Jordans to complain about some pubic hairs I found in some muesli once...After a couple of letters, then having to package the things up, send them off, etc - I finally got a cheque for £9.23 - I was a little insulted, tbh...but the money didn't really matter, there's no way I'm every buying the stuff again in any case.
