Hi,
Great Price
I have just purchased one from Speedsafe and they had to match the price and they beat it by £10, so I got it for £89.99. Being sent on Monday, I dont think they were happy about it, and they will also give you part exchange for your old device.
WOOOOOOOO
Please note I do not tolerate speeding, but the system is becoming a joke!
Telephone number for Speedsafe is 08452267941, it can only be done over the phone0 -
I give this thread 5minutes before the fascists lock it.. as with all speed detector threads.
Its perfectly legal to buy, own and use...
yet they dont to discuss it because some people think u will use it as a means to drive very fast outside a school or something???
Please dont lock this thread...
its LEGAL..
And radar detector drivers have been PROVEN to have 28% less accidentsBe nice0 -

Worth bearing in mind that Radar / Laser detectors that warn of mobile sites (i.e. use a detector rather than just GPS) are likely to be outlawed in early 2006:
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/magazine/4333671.stm
So unless the radar/laser detector element of the S3 Neo can be permanently disabled, it may be more costly to own than the risk of accidentally creeping over the speed limit!
YMMV - Rufus.0 -
They might be legal for now, but not for much longer
They aint morally right to use one to avade detection all because some selfish person couldn't careless as long as they aint convienanced and can get to a-b and to hell with anyone who gets in the way.
If you want to adhere to the law, why not use the cars speedo that's what its for.
Thats a load of rubbish that it is a safety device. Use you speedo adhere to the speeds limist and or road conditions or better still dont drive at allsmashed wrote:I give this thread 5minutes before the fascists lock it.. as with all speed detector threads.

For what it is worth.. i DONT own one... and ive never had a point on my license in my 7 years of driving.. nor an accident.
Its not a place for arguments... everyone has their opinion...
im stating facts..
its not illegal.. therefore it should be allowed to be posted on this board. If people want to buy one, let them have this information.
As you are renowned for not liking them, why have you read the thread? So that you can put a negative comment in?
Its neither friendly not productive.
Show some MSE spirit
Morally right?? And you think its morally right to find every loophole on this site to get a bargain?? When its blatantly an error? I bet you didnt talk about morals when you were no doubt trying to get a TV for £28, or a DVD player from Amazon for free.Be nice0 -
Very naughty. This is a refferal link. How many surrealists does it take to change a lightbulb?

In answer to your argument about Ebuyer a contract was formed, funds were taken, so that I belive I was within my rights. If money hadnt be taken fine, I would accepted it. You are wrong about Amazon on what basis is that assumption? I have enough dvd players in fact 2 I have spare that i dont use, I never even seen that thread and had I done so I wouldnt of bought one anyhow.
I am glad you dont use one, however the fact is they are wrong to use. I am anti speed because I live in an area where it goes on, I seen a child kicked about like a rag doll, and it aint funny.
I could say more on the subject but as you rightly said it isnt the place. But it wont stop me for expressing my views on this subject in the future, and if this gets my message across that speeds kills then I will be content.

Excellent find - thanks - just ordered one. #90.00 for a good detector is a bargain! Even if its only for a year....To Stooze or Not To Stooze - Theres only one option0

I didnt mean u personally regarding the DVD players etc... just saying that you wont find anybody talking about the "moral wrongs" when they are the ones getting a bargain.
And like u said, it goes on where you are... but thats the mentality of the person... and a radar detector isnt going to stop someone driving like that.
People are going to use their own judgement for normal driving, as you cant speed in urban areas anyway.
Its more for Motorway, A roads etc.. where driving 80 isnt really a threat... provided conditions etc are good obviously.Be nice0
