Both mine and my friends sets arrived in the post today - so they definitely are beginning to get sent out now. :)

  • I ordered the Groupon deal and paid by voucher on 15th November. I was promised delivery between 1st and 14th December. Nothing. They do not respond to emails or phone calls which are all routed to voicemail.
I tricked the voicemail system by dialling a random number (111) when asked if I knew the extension to call. I got through quickly to "Matt" who said there had been an error in the email and they lights should arrive within the next week.
I then received an admin email saying "estimated delivery" by 6th January. Yet their website still says delivery is "next day".
I would avoid this company unless you make delivery time a legally binding requirement. And refuse to pay until delivery. Their behaviour is probably legal but very suspect, in my opinion.

  • As I posted on another thread, this company is awful takes your money and then delivers your products very late or perhaps even not at all. AVoid like the plague. I had a similar experience.
  • We're now in a 'situation'.

Got a card through the door from Royal Mail and the only parcel I'm expecting is my 2 sets of fairy lights from LED Lightzone. Partner went to collect the parcel from the depot and they can't find it anywhere!

I've spoken to LED Lightzone, who say they've despatched them, but we've not received them, and Royal Mail are admitting to losing a parcel addressed to me.

So, don't know what to do now!

    admitted losing or can't find?
items get misfiled, especially at the vlumes this time of year
was your red card marked "RM tracked"?
those fairy lights all came by tracked and it may help the DO to find them if they didnt know that/marked on the card.

Yes, it was marked as 'RM Tracked' but depot couldn't find the parcel. However, they've phoned this morning, and have now found it - let's hope it's the lights!
  • My advice is to avoid both of these companies like the plague. I ordered three sets of fairy lights when they became available with plenty of time to Christmas. Despite an apologetic e-mail in December saying they would be delivered shortly, nothing has ever arrived. Multiple e-mails to LEdlightzone and no reply. Similar no to Groupon , who along the way asked me to be patient with the supplier. I thought their sympathy might be with the customer, not the supplier. Groupon keep promising action but nothing happens. They keep saying they will contact the supplier- best of luck with that one! Groupon always seems surprised there is a problem. Surely they realise there is a real problem with this company?

I have now told Groupon that I shall take action in the county Court to recover my money.

This is the Groupon promise on their website:-

"Nothing is more important to us than treating our customers well. If you ever feel like Groupon let you down, give us a call and we will refund your voucher – simple as that."

IT IS JUST WORDS GROUPON- TIME YOU LIVED UP TO THEM!!

Check the wording on Groupon FAQ page now, they have removed the reference to refund!
