Lloyds have paid me twice!!!

I finally got my payment last Monday and thought that would be the end of the matter.

But oh no I checked my Lloyds account this morning to find that they have refunded me a 2nd time, the same amount as my refund last week.

I called and spoke to them, the gentleman said I couldn't have been paid twice and I must be due the money. I tried to tell him I wasn't and that I had received all I was due.

He then said he would have to email the refund team and I will hear from them in due course as it showed I hadn't been paid at all!

This really is becoming a joke!!!

If you've been paid twice, can I have the second one to make up for the fact I haven't been paid once yet... :rotfl:
  • :rotfl: like the other poster said, withdraw it and when they ask for it back, keep telling them it is in the queue to be processed and you are unable to give any indication of a timescale when they expect payment!!!!!! What goes around comes around :rotfl:

:rotfl: Tell them it's gone to calculations but the person dealing with it only got a grade c GCSE in maths so it could be a long wait :rotfl:

I was overpaid from MBNA over a year ago. They sent one letter asking for it back and i put it in a savings account waiting for a second letter at which point i would send the cash back. Never got the second letter and the cash is still in the bank. Ho Hum suppose if they want it they will contact me won't they !!!!!
  • I hope they pay me twice, that'll be a haaaaaaapy christmas

  • dont complain, its their fault, they cant ask for it back.

They can. It's an error and they can ask for it back. But do as suggested above. Stall tactics ;)
  • Well since my call yesterday I also emailed Andrea Barry to say What had happened as I don't trust the staff in the call centre and I do to want to be accused later of trying to keep money that isn't mine.

So far no reply, also asked for a call back after calling yesterday but nothing yet.
  • Any news on you being paid twice yet!...
