Hi Folks
Just reading all those posts and I'm laughing my head off. Lloyds and other banks have certainly made fools of themselves but seriously, do you really want to reduce yourselves to the bankers etc who got this country into the situation that it is currently in - give the excess money back - do the right thing, not the wrong thing (the wrong thing is what the bankers did). Sorry to be the voice of conscience.0 -

i've been paid twice by barclaycard, (and by a lot of money too) left it in a savings account. I telephone them to ask on the status of the account and they said my account is now closed all all monies outstanding have be paid and the account will be marked as paid in full, and archived. i asked if i needed to do anything else and they said no, so i take it the money is all mine??!?!DFW Nerd no. 1191;)Maximum Debt £33k in 2007  all on CC's (I know, lesson learned; never consolidate and not cut up the cards!)Now completely debt free, but it was a double edged sword0
