Well done JDC14 for trying to sort this out.
Just to come back to the Gambling. Have you checked the following.
Does she owe anything to the gambling sites. How did she "play" without a credit card.
Is she still spending money on gambling like scratch cards or the lottery.
If she gambled out of bordem things may be ok but has she got an addiction.
Just some things to check out not to worry you.

Ridiculous figures put into these sites (from her bank account, so like a debit card transaction) hopefully have scared her off it.
So she doesn't owe them anything.0
