  • i keep a bottle of car plan de icer in my car although i rarely use it, the ice up here was awful the other day, i sprayed it on and i ended up with horribly smeared windows :(

    i can dirty my car perfectly well on my own, i don't need help!!!!!
    things arent the way they were before, you wouldnt even recognise me anymore- not that you knew me back then ;)
    BH is my best mate too, its ok :)

    I bought stuff from Halfords - it didn't de ice my windows either

    ICE Buster ice scraper from halfords is what you need, Dont bother with de icer after all you still have to scrape anyway.

    if you scrape the ice off the water content is gone.
    If it doesnt pay rent sell it.

    I use a scraper too, it looks like a crocodile, so had a mitten attached to it. Trouble is, occasionally there is that real hard ice which won't scrape, as opposed to the frost.
    NO to pasty tax We won!!!! Just shows that people power works! Don't be apathetic to your cause!

  • On a related note , anyone ever use night-time de-icer ? You spray it on your windows at night so they arent icy on the morning . I bought Halfords stuff a few years ago and it was great , but I bought some recently and it did diddly-squat !

    I recon we are getting conned. A lot of de-icers contain too much non de-icing stuff.
