I spent 40p on a paper that will save me £5 and sold £18.50 worth of cards today (I make my own) so seem to be in profit. Thoughts?!
I reckon its an NSD as you are in profit for the day and the Record was an investment, wasnt it ?
I phoned OH to tell him to bring one in from work -the guys at his work always have papers kicking around - yes, you've guessed - in one ear and out the other, he totally forgot:mad:
you will always be rich enough to be generous.0 -

I think I would take the 40p spend when you make the £5 saving just to be sneaky.

I just want to say a big "thank you" to you all for your lovely words - I have read them all with tears building as I went through each page.... (((hugs))) to everyone who's lost a dear wee one, it's the sad inevitability of letting them fill our lives with joy.
I'm a bit lost at the minute - I'm an early riser (usually by 5am) so am stuck with what to do to fill in the time before work. I think I may still have to go out for a walk as find it really loosens my back off (arthritis) but it feels odd walking without him there - lots of other "firsts" yesterday and today.
I did however go down to one of our favourite places yesterday afternoon down by the beach where there's a pond he loved to play in .... it was a beautiful cold crisp sunny day that Ben would've loved - and I did find a little peace for a little bit.
It's horrible being in the house without him - I live by myself and he was always in the room where I was - don't get me wrong, I love my cats to pieces but they come for a 10 min cuddle & then booger off & do what cats do ....;) so it's not quite the same.
Sorry, didn't mean that to be quite as long.
