Rising - I am so sorry to hear about Ben, they are the love of our lives and you must miss him terribly. He will always have a special place in your heart.

NSD #11 for me yesterday, I did post ebay parcels but no cost to me so I'm not counting it for this challenge :)

Just a quick one from me, kinda on/off topic. Do you remember a while back one of my friends called me something not very nice when I wanted to collect her cc points, bascially making out I was a cheapskate etc? Well, over the past week she's been worrying about the amount she's spending on 'stuff' every week and not really saving etc so started asking me for budgeting advise etc. Now, it would be catty of me to sound smug but I couldn't help feel an element of 'oh, now you want my advise so am I not such a **** afterall?'.
Then to follow it up, she started discussing how one of the papers had had a £5 off £40 shop in Mr T the weekend before and what a good deal it was and she was annoyed she'd missed it as she might have used it. I did have to bite my tongue but couldn't help piping up 'they have things like that all the time' ...certainly made me feel better about the previous 'incident' though :p

Ooooh! LOL! I remember that "incident"! I hope you savoured that smug feeling! Not catty at all...........justified IMHO!;)

    Good morning all!

Just been catching uo with you all, I dont know where the last few days have gone, although I've managed another 3 NSDS, taking me up to 9.

Rising: so sorry to hear about Ben. What a shock that must have been for you. I had to have my cat put to sleep earlier this year and that was very traumatic. I also have a dog who is the joy of my life and I cant imagine being without him. You have my heartfelt sympathy.

Keiss: hope the op went ok and you are on the mend.

Beanie: hope the funeral wasnt to difficult, sorry about the cupcake, still it was for a good cause.

I was up at daft o'clock again today; OH was starting work at 5am so I just got up! So far I've stripped and changed the bed, emprtied the dishwasher, put the rubbish out and been for the weekly shop. Now I'm off to get ready to go to WW and I'll go to the library after that.
So, no NSD but I stuck within the budget so I'm happy!

    I'll pop back later

    Have a lovely day everyone:)

    Good morning folks,

Rising, I'm so sorry to hear of your loss, as I experienced this myself many years ago and it takes a little time to deal with.

Kerrigt, love the popcorn idea, as the last time I went to the cinema, the popcorn, nachos and 2 drinks were £17:eek: Apparently some cinemas even search customers bags to check if they are bringing in there own snacks:mad:

I hope everyone has a good day. Will be back later to report if I've managed an NSD
If you've nothing decent to say, perhaps you shouldn't say anything.

    £2 savings jar £300:D
Total credit card debts £1250:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad: - Will I ever learn!!

    Morning all :D

I was aiming for a NSD today but then saw a £5 off £30 voucher for Aldi in the Daily Record (I belive it's in the Mirror if you're in Englandshire) so 40p spent. It's going to be the only money I spend all day too which is annoying :rotfl:
